Free Genotype Test Summary: ACHEIVEMENT We conducted free genotype testing for about 300 people at the step up Nigeria program. People were enlightened on the importance of knowing their genotype. The importance of Sickle cell awareness was emphasized. People were educated on various sickle cell complications. There was a special counseling period for people with the sickle cell traits on its management. |
